Autism Assessment
Autism Spectrum Disorder affects social communication and interaction alongside restricted and repetitive behaviors. The range of symptoms varies widely, often complicating social interactions and communication. Autism is recognizable in early childhood, and our experts can diagnosis as young as 16 months of age.

Our evaluations incorporate specialized measures to assess social and communication abilities. Our trained clinicians use diagnostic tools like the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2), play-based, and developmental assessments. Post-assessment, clinicians discuss the outcomes and provide tailored recommendations. A detailed report and resources such as speech and occupational therapy, behavioral interventions, and educational guidance are offered after the consultation.
Achieving an accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment and aiding developmental progression. Behaviors often associated with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) might actually stem from emotional disturbances or learning disabilities, necessitating a thorough assessment.
Our ADHD diagnostic process is extensive to confirm whether ADHD accurately describes the individual’s challenges.
The evaluation typically involves:
-
An initial consultation and clinical interview with the child’s parents/guardians to understand developmental history, primary concerns, and individual strengths.
-
An extensive array of psychological tests.
-
Behavioral assessment forms to caregivers and educators, and the child when age-appropriate.
-
A detailed feedback session is held with caregivers to discuss the results, followed by recommendations and potential referrals. A comprehensive report summarizing the findings is provided within two weeks of the evaluation.

ADHD affects individuals' focus, impulse control, and activity levels. It manifests as a consistent pattern of difficulty in following instructions, staying organized, and controlling impulsive actions across multiple settings, which can disrupt academic performance and social interactions. There are three presentations:
-
Inattentive Type: This includes making careless mistakes, difficulty sustaining attention, avoiding tasks requiring sustained mental effort, and problems with organization.
-
Hyperactive-Impulsive Type: Symptoms include difficulty remaining seated, excessive talking, fidgeting, and acting without thinking.
-
Combined Type: This most common form in children combines symptoms of both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive types.
Psychoeducational Evaluation
Identifying Learning and Emotional Challenges
Our evaluations aim to determine the root cause of academic struggles, whether they be attentional, emotional, or learning-based. Our assessments cover a broad spectrum of potential issues, from dyslexia and dyscalculia to attention disorders and emotional difficulties.
Specific attention is given to:
-
Dyslexia, characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition, and by poor spelling abilities.
-
Dyscalculia, focusing on challenges with math concepts and calculations.
-
Dysgraphia, affecting the ability to write coherently, often due to motor dysfunction or difficulty organizing thoughts on paper.
Over half of students with learning disabilities also exhibit cooccurring emotional or behavioral challenges, necessitating a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and intervention.
